Children's shirt girth are measured right around from just under the sleeves: These are the shirt girth measurements not the childs actual body measurements. Please measure your child torso and select a girth size a bit larger to get the correct fit.

Size 6m =Girth 20" Length of shirt 16"
Size 1-2 =Girth 22" Length of shirt 17"
Size 3-4 =Girth 24" Length of shirt 18"
Size 5-6 =Girth 26" Length of shirt 19"
Size 7-8 =Girth 28" Length of shirt 20"
Size 9-10 =Girth 30" Length of shirt 21" (shirt only)"
Size 11-12 =Girth 32" Length of shirt 22"(shirt only)
Size 13-14 =Girth 34" Length of shirt 22"(shirt only)

Since kids can be the same age but have different measurements please use these girth measurements to select the correct size for your child. Size 3-4 for example does not necessarily mean it is for 4 years olds kid.

For an example if a child's chest girth measures is 24" get size 7-8(shirt 28") so there will be room on each side for a good fit yet not tight.
